Job Description
We are looking for an Embedded Software Test Engineer who is willing to work on a project where each team member contributes to the SW Development success of Active Safety (AS) systems. Technical curiosity paired with a passion for engineering is a must for this role, we are looking for someone who applies strategic problem solving and enables the team to understand even the most complex technical challenges down to the last bit. Eagerness to own SW/SYS testing topics as per the V Model Software Development Life Cycle is necessary.Key responsibilities:
  • Requirement analysis.
  • Know-how on test design techniques.
  • Test specification / test case development.
  • Test automation.
  • Test execution.
  • Defect management.
  • Hardware in Loop (HIL) debugging.
  • Coordination with customer.
  • Responsible for quality and delivery.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Communications, Electronics, Electrical or Computer engineering.
  • 7-9 years of relevant experience.
  • Understanding of Project Management basics.
  • Understanding the system/functional requirements.
  • Able to develop test scenario to test the requirement.
  • Able to discuss and review with the requirements owner / developer.
  • Experience in SW testing and system testing.
  • Knowledge on process (SDLC / STLC / V-model).
  • Experience in CANoe / CANalyzer.
  • Programing skills, Python / CAPL / PERL.
  • Experience in Hardware in Loop (HIL) ETAS / DSPACE test environment.
  • Experience in diagnosis modules / UDS protocol.
  • Bring up new test concept & methodology.
  • Communication / coordination with customer.
  • Knowledge about Jenkins environment (CX).
  • Knowledge on SW Configuration management. (Ex: Clear Quest, ALM-RTC).
  • Knowledge on ASPICE process.
  • Experience in SW testing and system testing.
  • Experience in agile process: Continuous integration and continuous testing.
  • Experience in defect management.
  • Must be highly collaborative, pragmatic, quality oriented and delivery focused.
  • ISTQB Certification.
  • Team player with good communication skills.
  • Proficient in English (CEFR B2-C1).
  • Willing to travel to US and Southern Asia.
  • We are looking for someone who has strong interest in software, is very organized and motivated to follow BOSCH processes.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in Electronics & Communications/Electronics/Electrical/Computer engineering.
  • Knowledge about ESP system and algorithm + vehicle dynamics.
  • Knowledge about Jenkins environment.
  • Understanding the system/functional requirements.
  • Knowledge on SW configuration management. (Ex: Clear Quest, ALM-RTC).
  • Experience in agile process: Continuous integration and continuous testing.
