Based in Guadalajara (remote work) with regular on site labor in Poncitlán, Jalisco.
Your new Role
As Crop Planner you will be responsible for maintaining the end to end overall supply / demand balance over a 2 year tactical horizon though the creation of supply plans which balance customer service, cost and site functional capacities mainly for corn crops, you will work with local managers to optimize site assets and resources anticipating future supply constraints and developing scenarios for their resolution, you will act as the primary contact for all Crop supply plan enquiries managing imbalances in the plans caused by forecast changes to preserve original customer promise dates, you will participate in market segment team structures to ensure transparency for what is happening, ensure operational planning master data is accurate in the planning systems and improve crop performance via tiered meeting structures and through globally consistent operational KPIs.
What you´ll need
- Bachelor´s Degree concluded (desirably but not indispensable in agronomy, biology or biotechnology)
- Minimum of 3 – 5 years in demand or supply planning for multinational agrochemical, agricultural or biotechnology companies.
- Vast experience managing planning processes, executing statistical and historical analysis, and developing supply plans.
- Experience with corn crops (desirable but not indispensable)
- Strong stakeholders management and influencing skills
- Self-driven, communication skills, proactivity and adaptability.
- Advanced Excel and ERP knowledge.
- Advanced English.
